I ultimately envision to develop models that go one step beyond effectively approximating complex, non-linear processes and truly comprehend tasks focusing on player identification and performance evaluation for sports. Hence, as a researcher at the Vision & Image Processing Lab, I strive to bridge the gap between theoretical advances of ML and its practical applications in sports analytics by developing robust solutions for trustworthy player identification and disinterested player evaluation via 2D pose estimation. I work under the supervision of Dr. David A Clausi, Dr. Sirisha Rambhatla and work closely with Prof. John Zelek and Prof. Alexander Wong.
